My favorite female singer (or artist she would call herself)~

Felling better now since I'm confirmed negative of H1N1.

So, maybe a "Feeling good" suits.

聽了一下午的Nina Simone。
以前就很喜歡她，google 了一下、youtube了一下。
認識她是因為年輕的時候看了「雙面女蠍星」（Point of No Return），Bridget Fonda飾演的女主角非常喜歡Nina Simone 的歌。

我覺得最有味道的是這首「I want some shugar in my bowl」。（以前沒有MV這種東西吧...）


其他的「名曲」也廣為傳唱。
「Here comes the sun」 - Beatles跟Coldplay都唱過～


「Feeling good」- George Michael唱過、Pussycat Doll唱過、還有一些人特愛remix這首歌...


其實我會開始連連看，主要是在找The Yard Dogs Road Show的相關資料，先是連到 singer Lily Rose Love的這段

而會想要去找The Yard Dogs Road Show主要是因為Zoe Jakes...again...all about belly dance, but end up full of surprises...

除了好些個歌手翻唱過外，電影Thomas Crown Affair也用到囉～


這位Nina女士也算是個奇芭...生於北卡，本名Eunice Kathleen Waymon，很早就展現出音樂方面的才華。除了唱腔特殊外，她也對鋼琴演奏非常在行，youtube裡面好幾首歌的鋼琴配樂都超讚的。但因為膚色的關係就學並不是很順利，讓她在種族平權方面頗有著墨。從好幾部她比較晚期的live youtube上面可以看出中文維基形容的「舞台作風的確有些傲慢而且疏離」，但她的一生、她的天分、她的膚色的確造就了她的不凡。有興趣的看英文維基，比較詳細...
